Lauren Montes

Lauren Montes is an associate at Stagg Wabnik Law Group. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation.

Before joining the firm, Lauren practiced at a firm where she drafted trial and appellate briefs for clients seeking asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.

​

Lauren earned her J.D. at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where she graduated summa cum laude. At Hofstra, she earned awards for excellence in Government Law, Procedural Law, Contracts, and Transnational Law and participated in the Securities Arbitration Clinic.

Before attending law school, Lauren worked as the Regional Director for the Long Island Office of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. In this position, she coordinated the Senator's Long Island outreach and assisted constituents and local elected officials on various federal and local matters.

Lauren has also worked as an economic and litigation consultant, analyzing damages in complex transactions for civil litigation matters. She graduated from Wellesley College cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and Spanish.
