Admitted to the NYS bar and U.S. Federal Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court, Janet Nina Esagoff is the Founding Member and Managing Attorney of the ESAGOFF LAW GROUP, P.C. Janet concentrates her law practice in the areas of Real Estate, Business Law and Civil Litigation. A second career attorney, Janet co-owned and managed a successful retail/manufacturing fashion enterprise based in Nassau and Westchester Counties. Given her proven background as an entrepreneur, Janet acts as a "Licensed Problem Solver" and is able to offer pragmatic business solutions to her clients including contract disputes, real estate claims, landlord-tenant disputes, as well as general counsel to individuals and businesses. including contract disputes, real estate claims, landlord-tenant disputes, and as general counsel to individuals and businesses. Janet has extensive experience in real estate development, foreclosure practice, loan modifications, loan workouts as well as quiet title actions.
She is very knowledgeable in all things pertaining to real estate, construction, and real estate management. Janet is regularly recognized for her law work, including being honored by Super Lawyers from 2013-2023, and distinctions by Martindale Hubbel and Avvo for high ratings and client satisfaction. Janet is active with Hofstra Law School., her alma mater, where she taught 1L and 2L law students trial skills as a Special Instructor. Outside the law, Janet is an active volunteer on several non-profit boards and the founder of Destination: Great Neck.
